  • Graphing – Construct and solve problems using information from a bar graph; construct and solve problems using information for a picture graph
  • Measurement – Estimate and measure length to the nearest millimeter, centimeter, meter, inch, foot or yard; weight to the nearest gram, kilogram, ounce or pound; capacity to the nearest liter, cup, pint, quart or gallon; select the appropriate metric and customary unit to measure an object or distance
  • Multiplication & Division – Develop automaticity with multiplication and division facts; identify associative, commutative and zero properties of multiplication; divide a three-digit number by a one-digit number with no remainder
  • Numbers – Identify the place value of each digit through the hundred-thousands; round two- and three-digit numbers to the nearest ten or hundred; complete number patterns including multiples
  • Problem Solving – Select the appropriate operation and strategy to solve word problems; solve problems using basic graphs, charts and tables; begin to solve basic, one-step equations
  • Time & Money – Combine and identify the value of a collection of coins and bills up to $20.00; compute conversions using units of time including seconds, minutes, hours, days, weeks, months and years
